Sprinkle a little magic onto your little girl’s birthday by throwing her a fairy party. The invitations can read, “Fairies, fairies, did you hear? (Your child’s name)’s birthday is this year! You’ll dance, you’ll eat, and you’ll have sweet fun – you’ll be a fairy before its all done.”
In addition to hanging pink and white balloons from the ceiling, make an outdoor fairy garden by cutting out cardboard toadstools, giant flowers and beanstalks and sticking them on the fence or on garden stakes.
- Fairy, Fairy, Troll – A twist on the original “Duck, Duck, Goose”, children sit in a circle on the jumping castle with one person going around the circle tapping the others saying “fairy”. When she says “troll”, she must run around the circle trying to occupy the spot where the “troll” was sitting before the “troll” catches her.
- Find Fairies – Photocopy and cut out pictures of fairies and hide them in the garden. Write and draw clues and send the kids on a fairy hunt.
Princess Palace, Lost Temple or the Disco Dome will make a great addition to this party and don’t forget to play this game on your jumping castle:
Find George the Grasshopper
Somewhere in the jumping castle, little George the grasshopper is hiding. The first party person to find George and to shout – “Grasshopper”, wins.
This is great info for our twin boy/girl troll/fairy birthday party. Thank you Grasshoppers!!!
