Children are all about fun, energy and adventure, and these exciting party theme ideas are sure to get their imaginations running wild. Whatever theme you choose, be sure to make your little one’s day extra special by hiring one of our super-fun jumping castles!
Underwater Party
For decorations think blue and green streamers, ribbons and balloons to create an underwater paradise that even King Triton would be proud of.
Create a hidden treasure trail game complete with a treasure chest of sweeties and toys as the prize. Paint a small cardboard box and fill it with treats. Give the kids clues that lead to the other clues and eventually to the treasure!
Play ‘pin the arm on the octopus’ (7 more chances of winning!)—the kiddies will love it (even if the octopus doesn’t).
To feed your hungry deep-sea divers, make anything blue and sea-themed. Let your guests dive in to cupcakes with blue or green icing and sandwiches made with shell-shaped cutters. Yellow sherbet makes perfect sand and use lemonade with a dash of blue food colouring for yummy sea-blue soda.
For the perfect addition to an under the sea themed birthday party, why not invite Oscar Octopus along? Our Octopus jumping castle includes a super-fun bounce and slide that lets the children bounce, climb the rope ladder and slide to the bottom. Your little merman or mermaid will love Oscar the Octopus, and with Oscar on board, any underwater party is sure to go just swimmingly.
Pirate Party
Make sure your crew are seaworthy and ready to set sail for a day of adventure. Eyepatches, bandanas and nautical stripes are necessities for any pirate. If you want to really push the boat out buy some face-paints and paint pirate beards and scars on the scallywags.
Create a hidden treasure trail game complete with a treasure chest of goodies as the prize. Paint a small cardboard box and fill it with sweets and other treats. Give the crew clues that lead to the other clues and eventually to the pirate booty!
For the perfect pirate party ‘seafood’ make sandwiches using boat-shaped cutters, use chocolate coins for pirate gold and bake skull and cross-bone cupcakes. All that swashbuckling can be very hard work so make sure your crew don’t go thirsty – make a fruity pirate punch! (No rum for these shipmates!)
For the perfect addition to a Pirate Party why not hire our Pirate Adventure jumping castle. The bright coloured murals and super-bouncy slide will send your little pirates overboard with excitement!
